CHARTER OF THE CHURCH OF KUTSAL YAŞAM  

Kutsal Yaşam Kilisesi (The Church of Holy Life) is an independent, non-denominational, evangelical  church. Our Church accepts statements of faith in accordance with the Bible and its doctrines  (trinitarianism, salvation). It allows servants to teach while adhering to the Charter of the Kutsal  Yaşam (Church of Holy Life).   

CHURCH  

The universal church is the body and bride of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:22-32, Ephesians  1:23, Ephesians 2:20-22)  

The Church is made up of God's Elect, beginning with Adam, the first created man, and continuing  all the way to the second coming of Christ.  

The members of the Church (in heaven and on earth) will be united in the physical resurrection that  will take place at the Second Coming. In this New Heaven and New Earth, every member of this  Church will be with God and worship him for all eternity.  

The Church welcomes people from every nation and language, regardless of language, origin,  ethnicity, ethnic group, gender, social status or privilege (Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11).  

The Church must be careful not to be involved in politics and members must be careful not to involve  each other in politics. Members may hold whatever political opinions they wish in their free  conscience, but no political opinion can be imposed from the pulpit (Romans 13:1-7).  

THE MISSION OF OUR CHURCH  

To continue the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. To live and live the Kingdom of God with  the gospel of salvation.  

Matthew 24:14 “This gospel of the kingdom of heaven will be preached in every part of the world as  a witness to all nations. Then the end will come.”  

THE VISION OF OUR CHURCH

To be an instrument for the salvation of people by proclaiming God's greatest desire: eternal life. To  take our part in the revival in Turkey by establishing new communities in Istanbul and all over Turkey  as the church preaching the gospel.  

Matthew 28: 19-20  

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the  Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I  am with you always, to the end of the age.”  

TRIUNE ( TRINITY)  

Kutsal Yaşam Kilisesi (Church of the Holy Life)  believes that there are three persons (hypostases) in  one God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, from eternity past to eternity past. The Son was not  created, but was born of the virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was not created. But  he emanated from the Father, from the Son, from eternity before the Father. These three persons  are not superior to each other in authority or being. Only in functioning (oikonomia) do they perform  different tasks. When the Lord Jesus Christ suffered on the cross, neither the Father nor the Holy  Spirit was on the cross with him. But they all have a common approval in this work. The Son has  authority and power for ever and ever. He had this authority and power before his death and  resurrection, but this was not fully revealed directly to the people and to his disciples. But with the  resurrection the glory of the Son was revealed to them. Just as on the day of Pentecost the people  were amazed and believed when they saw the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, so the disciples  were comforted by the authority and power of Christ. The Father has never been seen by anyone  from eternity past. Only the Son, and only the Son, has revealed him. In the beginning all things were  created by the activity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. OUR CHURCH'S VIEW OF SALVATION  

In the beginning man was created good and righteous. God created man in His own image. But man  sinned by choice and fell short of the glory of God. Spiritual death reigned in him. God spoke salvation  to Abraham and the other patriarchs through the promises.  The promise of blessing to Abraham,  the patriarch of faith, was given through grace and faith. The Law was added to the covenant to make  man conscious of sin. Christ is the end of the Law, the fulfillment of the promise made to Abraham.  So that the promise to Abraham might be fulfilled by faith, Christ fulfilled the Law by “Grace”. Thus  man's only hope of salvation is the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, shed on the cross for our  sins. Through grace one receives salvation by faith. This is not an achievement of his own, but the  work of Christ Jesus and the activity of faith. He is not a believer unless he receives the Holy Spirit.  Because faith and the Holy Spirit work together. Salvation cannot be lost in any other way than by  denying the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit seals the believer. This is the proof of salvation. The  basic principle of salvation in every age is faith. The subject of faith is God. The knowledge of faith  changes, but not the content. We believe that salvation after Adam's sin is by the grace of God  (Genesis 1:26, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:18, Romans 8:1-2, Romans 8:16, Romans 10:4, Galatians 3:13 14, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 3:4-6)  

CHURCH LEADING  

Christ is the head and shepherd of the Church (Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18)

All management is under the authority and power of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18)   

The Church's Form of Management:  

Leadership and ministry team (Acts 20:28)

Leader: A servant, called a shepherd, who has the ultimate authority over the order and spiritual  responsibilities of the church (Hebrews 13:17).  

Prophet: A ministry inspired by the Holy Spirit according to God's Word, showing the growth and  vision of the church.(1 Corinthians 14:3-4, Revelation 19:10)  

Apostle: A minister who has received special wisdom from God to reconcile the issues in God's  church, building up the church where he serves (Romans 1:5) 

Evangelist: a servant who proclaims the good news of God everywhere (Romans 15:18, 2 Timothy  4:2)  

Teacher: a servant who deepens and develops the Word of God in the community of believers (1  Timothy 4:13, 2 Timothy 3:16, Titus 1:9)  

Servants of the Church accept (Ephesians 4:11) and exercise all the gifts of service.

Qualities of a Servant Serving in a Service Group:  

The qualifications for a servant of the Kutsal Yaşam Kilisesi (Church of the Holy Life) must be in  accordance with 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.  

He must not be a new believer.  

Must not be a wine drinker/drunkard  

Must be capable of teaching  

Hospitable  

Good Samaritan  

Fair  

Reliable  

Can manage their own home  

Common sense  

Monogamous  

Measured  

Respected  

Must not be a bully  

Meek  

Far from fighting  

Far from the love of money  

He/she should be known as a good person by those outside the community.  

He should be able to control his children (mentally and physically).  

Pure  

There should be no shame in it.  

OUR VIEW OF THE LORD'S SUPPER (COMMUNION/EFRESHMAN):  

The Lord's Supper consists of bread and wine. It symbolizes our fellowship with the divine nature of  the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a remembrance of Jesus Christ's suffering and death for our sins. It is also  a commemoration of his second coming. Until his return, all believers should partake of the Lord's  supper in the church. Everyone who has confessed Christ as Lord and Savior can take the Lord's  Supper.  

BAPTISM:  

Kutsal Yaşam Kilisesi (The Church of the Holy Life) does not perform infant baptism. A person can be  baptized when he is aware of his sin and realizes that he needs repentance. This is clear in the call of  John the Baptist and in the preaching of the Apostles in Acts. As the Lord Jesus Christ commanded,  “Baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Immersion in water is  commanded in the Bible. All who repent and confess Christ as Lord and Savior must be baptized  (Matthew 3:1-12, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 1:1-8, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 3:1-17, Acts 2:37-41, Romans  10:8-10). 

Qualifications required of those seeking baptism:  

Accepting discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20)  

Successful completion of training (Matthew 16:16)  

Accepting at least one year of continuous attendance at the church (Hebrews 10:25)  

MEMBERSHIP  

Have faith in the Scriptures and the teaching of the Church  

Must be baptized  

They should be regular in coming to church.  

An unbeliever should not participate in special meetings (prayer meetings, the Lord's Supper, etc.).

Evangelization Activities: We organize Scriptural commemorations (Christmas, Easter, Pentecost,  etc.), opportunities to proclaim the gospel by inviting the surrounding communities, social media  evangelism, organizing evangelistic events in partnership with other churches, etc.  

CHURCH DISCIPLINE  

In many places in Scripture, both in the Old and New Testaments, Kutsal Yaşam (the Church of Holy  Life) observes the rules and disciplines that govern the church and its relationship with God according  to God's commands.  

In many places in the Old Testament there are verses about discipline and the need for more than  one witness (Numbers 35:30, Deuteronomy 17:6). (Matthew 18:15-20, 2 Corinthians 13:1-2, 1  Timothy 5:19, Hebrews 10:28).   

According to Scripture, discipline is not punishment or retribution. It is to guide the person to a life  in accordance with the Word of God. In this way, it drives away thoughts, behaviors and people who  do not belong to the Church. In this way, it is to bring God's grace and mercy to everyone. The most  important thing here is that the Holy Spirit will change the person.
